Legionnaire's Disease in USA

On 22 June 2016 the Appalachian District Health Department issued a press release confirming three cases of Legionnaire’s disease.
No definite source of exposure has been identified, however all three cases had stayed at or visited the Meadowbrook Inn & Suites in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
Advice for Travellers
The risk of Legionnaires' disease for travellers is considered to be low. Travellers to the area should be aware of the situation and should they develop a flu-like illness with fever, cough or shortness of breath during their stay or up to two weeks after return home, they should seek medical advice promptly.
