Avian Influenza (Human) in Egypt (Update)

The Ministry of Health for Egypt has reported an increase in the number of human cases of avian influenza (H5N1) since the beginning of 2015. A total of 31 cases have been reported during the month of January; of those, 10 have been fatal cases.
In 2014, a total of 27 cases were recorded with 11 fatalities.
