Foreign Office Driving Abroad Safety Campaign
03 Apr 2013
The Foreign Office road safety campaign aims to help British nationals drive safely abroad.
The campaign has been developed in response to Foreign Office staff based overseas reporting a high number of road traffic incidents affecting British tourists and expats in popular destinations, such as Thailand, Australia and Spain.
The Foreign Office has launched their new road safety tool, produced to help British Nationals research the laws and regulations of the country they intend driving through. This tool is to help travellers prepare for driving overseas and it also includes a handy checklist available for download.
